\n\tChristina Applegate<\/a> says she\u2019s \u201cgetting stronger and better every day\u201d after her recent hospitalization.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes,\u201d she wrote in Instagram caption<\/a> on Monday. \u201cHealth issues are a constant for me, but I\u2019m a strong chick and I\u2019m getting stronger and better every day. I\u2019m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I\u2019ll be back with more to say soon enough.<\/p>\n

\n\tApplegate publicly announced that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in August 2021 and has been open about her health struggles in the years since, especially through her memoir \u201cYou with the Sad Eyes,\u201d released in 2026, and the podcast she cohosts with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who also has MS. Applegate\u2019s Instagram post comes after reports recently began circulating that she had been hospitalized in late March, with outlets like the Daily Mail<\/a> and Page Six<\/a> reporting that those close to her were preparing for the worst.<\/p>\n

\n\tBest known for starring in the family sitcom \u201cMarried\u2026 with Children,\u201d which ran on Fox for 11 seasons from 1987 to 197, Applegate has retired from acting while dealing with her MS. The comedic thriller series \u201cDead to Me\u201d was her final role; Season 3 began filming just before she received her diagnosis and was released in 2022. In an interview with Variety<\/a> that year, she said she was \u201csleeping all the time\u201d while shooting Season 3 and had to use a wheelchair to get to set. \u201cI had to call everybody and be like, \u2018I have multiple sclerosis guys. Like, what the fuck!\u2019 And then it was about kind of learning \u2014 all of us learning \u2014 what I was going to be capable of doing.\u201d<\/p>\n
