\n\tA few days after the premiere of her You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love lead single\u2019s official visual<\/a> \u2014 which featured the pop star frolicking around the Palace of Versailles in Paris \u2014 she posted a second video supporting \u201cDrop Dead\u201d on Monday (April 20). Only available to watch on Spotify<\/a>, the alternate \u201ctaken that Eurostar to France\u201d version shows Rodrigo sipping on a Guinness in a London pub, filming herself strolling through the city\u2019s streets and admiring landmarks such as Big Ben before boarding a train, equipped with her guitar case. <\/p>\n

\n\tHer next destination turns out to be the City of Love, where the Grammy winner sings her lyrics in front of the Eiffel Tower and visits the Arc de Triomphe. \u201cOne night, I was bored in bed\/ And stalked you on the internet,\u201d she croons. \u201cIt\u2019s feminine intuition\/ \u2018Cause I always had a vision of us standing like this\/ All pressed up in the bathroom line\/ You\u2019re lookin\u2019 like an angel on the walls of Versailles.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRodrigo unleashed \u201cDrop Dead\u201d alongside its official video on Friday (April 17), ushering in the era of her third studio album, which is slated to arrive in June. She last dropped an LP in 2023, topping the Billboard 200<\/a> with Guts.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe hitmaker\u2019s alternate visual supporting her single\u2019s streaming performance comes about four months after YouTube announced it would be withdrawing its data <\/a>from Billboard\u2018s charts, meaning that the views \u201cDrop Dead\u201d gets on the platform won\u2019t count toward its position on the Billboard Hot 100 <\/a>next week. To date, Rodrigo has notched 30 entries on the chart, including three No. 1 hits: \u201cDrivers License,\u201d \u201cGood 4 U\u201d and \u201cVampire.\u201d<\/p>\n
