\n\tJeff Probst<\/a> is ready to play \u201cSurvivor<\/a>\u201d \u2026 or is he? <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new exclusive sneak peek of the Wednesday, April 22, episode, the host and showrunner steps in to compete in his first immunity challenge (\u201cWrist Assured\u201d or \u201cWater Weight,\u201d depending on what season in the past you\u2019ve watched), during which he must hold up a portion of his own weight in a pail of water.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEverybody ready to make a little \u2018Survivor\u2019 history?\u201d Probst asks as the challenge begins.<\/p>\n

\n\tImmediately after beginning, he says, \u201cI will admit, it is much heavier than I thought.\u201d Then, he reveals that his competing was actually Jimmy Fallon\u2019s idea, which he brought up during \u201cThe Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe knew we were doing \u2018In the Hands of the Fans\u2019 and we were voting, so he did his own poll with his audience, and one of the questions was [whether] should I ever participate as a player,\u201d Probst explains. \u201cIt was, like, 90% [yes], so thanks, Jimmy. That\u2019s why we\u2019re out here.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tProbst then asks the group if someone else could drop so they could take over hosting duties. While Ozzy tells Christian he could drop, Probst then says, \u201cDevens, you\u2019re not going to win this. Why don\u2019t you just drop?\u201d Devens, surprised, yells, \u201cPorbst!\u201d Moments later, he admits, \u201cThat\u2019s tempting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was previously revealed that Jimmy Fallon would be one of the massive \u201cSurvivor\u201d celebrity fans who became part of the game as a twist<\/a> \u2014\u00a0along with the previously seen Zac Brown and upcoming Mr. Bease.<\/p>\n
