\n\tRyan Reynolds<\/a> is teasing what the future looks like for Deadpool<\/a>, and he seemingly already has some ideas.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter starring in 2024\u2019s\u00a0Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel fans have been wondering where the character would go next, and in a new interview, Reynolds shared some hints.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile making an appearance on Today\u2019s Sunday Sitdown Live, Reynolds was asked if he had been thinking about Deadpool.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI have some stuff kind of written,\u201d Reynolds said.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe added, \u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019m going to center him again. I think he\u2019s a supporting character, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor said that Deadpool is \u201ca guy that\u2019s great in a group.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA potential fourth Deadpool film has not been announced, but rumors about Reynolds reprising his foul-mouthed superhero in Avengers: Doomsday have been circulating on social media. The actor has played down the rumors<\/a> about joining the Avengers, saying in September 2025 that he has not \u201cstepped foot on set\u201d of the film.<\/p>\n

\n\tDoomsday, set to release on December 18, is said to be a farewell to the X-Men characters ahead of its reboot<\/a>, which director Jake Schreier is developing.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Deadpool character is closely associated with the X-Men, which Avengers: Doomsday will heavily focus on bringing back. Stars Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier\/Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), James Marsden (Cyclops), and Channing Tatum (Gambit) are set to reprise their roles.
