News<\/a> a week before the event. &#8220;I have to take care of myself, so I&#8217;m doing that. And that means not going to the party sometimes.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Quipping that &#8220;daddy&#8217;s tired,&#8221; he added, &#8220;I can&#8217;t do everything.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At the 2019 event, whose \u201cCamp: Notes on Fashion\u201d theme inspired many over-the-top looks, Billy dressed as an Egyptian god in an all-gold outfit complete with wings and a chain headdress. He also arrived on the carpet on a cushioned platform carried by six shirtless men in matching gold pants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRyan Murphy said I should do all five looks from Diana Ross in Mahogany,\u201d he told The Hollywood Reporter that year. \u201cI thought that sounded like too much work, but out of that came the idea to do Egyptian.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Praising the event\u2019s theme, Billy added, \u201cCamp is the art of being extra in its finest and highest form.
