Sometimes the show must go on, and that certainly was the case when Nicole Kidman arrived on set to film a scene for Apple TV series, Margo\u2019s Got Money Troubles.<\/p>\n

Details have emerged of the moment the Aussie star, who takes on the role of a former pro wrestler-turned-lawyer in the new show, was hospitalised after pushing herself a little too hard for one of her scenes. <\/p>\n

Speaking to People<\/a>, Nick Offerman recalled the exact moment he realised his 59-year-old co-star was a consummate professional.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re there in the morning, we\u2019re getting warmed up – some of us are going to be performing some actual wrestling, and so we have our doubles, we have people we\u2019re working with,\u201d he told the US publication.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the word comes in that Nicole has the flu, and we might not get Nicole today. And we\u2019re like, \u2018Oh no, that\u2019s such a bummer, because we only have the one day that we\u2019ve built this whole circus for.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

And then, surprise. The Moulin Rouge star arrives, practically on her deathbed. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s about 8 in the morning that we get this news. Come to be about 11am, the word comes in: Nicole\u2019s coming.\u201d<\/p>\n

As she hit the set, it became clear to all just how unwell she was.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was so pale, shaken. She just had the flu really so bad,\u201d Offerman recalled. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe showed up and made sure that we got every shot of her, total superhero style, did everything we needed to so that we did not lose one scrap of what we needed for her character.\u201d<\/p>\n

And then she went straight to hospital \u201cfor an IV.\u201d<\/p>\n

The commitment wasn\u2019t lost on her co-stars, either. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just said to her, I already admired you so much, but this is how you get to be Nicole Kidman, is you show up so that your show doesn\u2019t lose a minute of your value,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was so generous. It was astonishing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The flu wasn\u2019t the reason the star thought she would be admitted to the hospital during her time on the series. <\/p>\n

When hitting the red carpet for the series\u2019 premiere, Kidman revealed how she was very careful to avoid injuring herself while filming scenes as her pro-wrestler character.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I got in the ring, I just went, \u2018Okay, let\u2019s go,\u2019\u201d she shared. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhenever I do something, I go, \u2018Okay, I\u2019ve gotta be really careful,\u2019 and then I just forget about any sort of protection in my body, and I go crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Margo\u2019s Got Money Troubles is a series based on Rufi Thorpe\u2019s best-selling 2024 novel of the same name. <\/p>\n
