Clear your schedules, ladies: we\u2019re going on a girl\u2019s trip. On April 22, after weeks of teasing, Zara Larsson<\/a> finally confirmed the features for her highly anticipated deluxe album Midnight Sun: Girl\u2019s Trip (out May 1). A \u201cmotherquake<\/a>\u201d was promised, and a \u201cmotherquake\u201d it was, indeed \u2013 with 13 female features across 10 tracks, fans all but expected to see names like Larsson\u2019s \u201cStateside<\/a>\u201d collaborator PinkPantheress<\/a> and \u201cShe Did It Again\u201d duet partner Tyla<\/a> make the cut. But with the expected came a fair share of surprise collaborators, including one massive A-list hitmaker and Larsson\u2019s spiritual Swedish mother.<\/p>\n

You\u2019d be hard pressed to find two people in the music industry who are funnier and even more unserious than Larsson and JT<\/a>, which is why this pairing is a match made in heaven. Plus the former City Girl rapper is a Miami native, the Mecca of all girl\u2019s trips.<\/p>\n

PINKPANTHERESS<\/p>\n

This one requires no explanation \u2014 the duo are holding steady at no. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 with \u201cStateside,\u201d and now they\u2019re going to go two-for-two with a \u201cMidnight Sun\u201d remix.<\/p>\n

BAMBII<\/p>\n

Dancehall, UK garage, drum\u2019n\u2019bass: Jamaican-Canadian DJ Bambii has done it all. She\u2019s also worked with the likes of Kelela<\/a> and Ravyn Lenae<\/a> in the past, and if we had to guess, she probably picked up a production credit on a track like \u201cThe Ambition\u201d or \u201cEurosummer.\u201d<\/p>\n

MALIBU<\/p>\n

If it wasn\u2019t clear, this is about to be an international girl\u2019s trip. Despite her Californian name, Malibu<\/a> is a French DJ and producer whose music is much more ambient and melancholic than Larsson\u2019s. If we had to guess, her contributions will be heard on the album\u2019s sole ballad, \u201cSaturn\u2019s Return.\u201d<\/p>\n

KEHLANI<\/p>\n

Though this collab might come as a surprise to some, it actually makes total sense. Much like Larsson, Kehlani<\/a> is also having a moment nearly a decade after she first exploded onto the scene, thanks to her Grammy-winning track, \u201cFolded.\u201d That said, it\u2019ll be interesting to see how she blends her signature contemporary R&B and Brandy-like vocal stylings with Larsson\u2019s bubblegum pop-forward sensibilities.<\/p>\n

MARGO XS<\/p>\n

Los Angeles-based producer Margo XS has previously described her sound as \u201cpop music as noise music<\/a>,\u201d so whichever track she worked on, expect it to sound completely different from the original.<\/p>\n

Pop girls need to stick together, hence why Larsson called up Madison Beer<\/a> for this record. People forget Beer is a vocalist\u2019s vocalist, so it makes sense why Larsson, an unofficial graduate from the Beyonc\u00e9 School of Singing, would want to go toe-to-toe with someone like Beer.<\/p>\n

ELI<\/p>\n

Probably the newest name on the list, Eli<\/a> is the Y2K girl of your dreams. Her music strikes the perfect balance of nostalgic and innovative, and if there\u2019s one person on this list who has what it takes to become a capital PS Pop Star, it\u2019s the self-proclaimed Stage Girl.<\/p>\n

As another lesser known name, we\u2019re excited to see Larsson shedding some light on Danish-Chinese experimentalist Helena Gao. Her music is wistful and powerfully intimate, two words we wouldn\u2019t necessarily use to describe Larsson\u2019s style.<\/p>\n

Larsson was just featured on Tyla\u2019s new single, so of course the South African superstar was going to return the favor on Girl\u2019s Trip.<\/p>\n

Argentine singer Emilia\u2019s<\/a> sonic bread and butter is reggaeton and Latin R&B \u2014 all the more proof that this album is headed in a dancehall, afrobeats direction.<\/p>\n

As Larsson\u2019s (and pop music\u2019s) Swedish foremother, this collab was bound to happen eventually. We can only hope Larsson called up the best producers in the country to get Robyn<\/a> on a remix of \u201cPuss Puss.\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll admit, this one came completely out of left field, but after seeing Larsson\u2019s and Tyla\u2019s music video for \u201cShe Did It Again<\/a>,\u201d it\u2019s clear the \u201cPretty Ugly\u201d singer was raised on the \u201cBeautiful Liar\u201d visuals.
