Last May, White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood called the show\u2019s dental-forward impression of her \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.avclub.com\/sarah-sherman-aimee-lou-wood-snl-response\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">mean and unfunny<\/a>.\u201d The criticism prompted response from cast member Sarah Sherman, who said she \u201cfucking obviously never meant to hurt anyone\u2019s feelings [\u2026] Never in a million years did I get into comedy to make anyone upset.\u201d The hatchet was buried under a bouquet of flowers, sent from Sherman to Wood, who posted a <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/snl-sarah-sherman-sent-aimee-lou-wood-beautiful-flowers-after-controversial-white-lotus-skit-11716259\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">photo of the flowers on Instagram<\/a>. But Wood wasn\u2019t quite done with the controversy yet.<\/p>\n<p>Wood is hosting SNL UK this weekend, and as a means of showing the show and producer Lorne Michaels that she\u2019s a good sport, the first promo for the episode includes an obvious jab at the controversy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The sketch is a great example of why people shouldn\u2019t rush to judgment and assume that people are wearing false teeth.<\/p>\n<p>SNL UK airs on Sky on Saturday at 10.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"President Trump isn\u2019t the only celebrity who believes SNL treats them unfairly.
