A more significant change is the glow appearing on the blue and red sections.<\/p>\n<p>This gradient effect and the card design change are pretty hard to notice on your actual phone, but they are there. The homescreen app icon itself has yet to be updated as of version 26.19.<\/p>\n<p>This updated icon comes ahead of the <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2026\/04\/23\/google-wallet-redesign-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">big passes redesign<\/a>, which is not widely available and has yet to be officially announced. Having search in the app is a nice quality-of-life improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Google Wallet joins the Search \u2018G,\u2019 Gemini, Home, Photos, and Maps in receiving this gradient treatment.
