Join us in London on Thursday 14 May to celebrate 130 years of The Architectural Review with Margaret Howell<\/p>\n

The Architectural Review is 130 this year. To mark this landmark anniversary, the AR is collaborating with London-based designer Margaret Howell on a series of limited-edition cover prints, launching on Thursday 14 May at Margaret Howell\u2019s flagship London store.<\/p>\n

Join us to celebrate 130 years of AR covers, with personal contributions from AR friends and co-conspirators \u2013 including H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Binet, DK-CM, Arinjoy Sen and many more.<\/p>\n

The five cover prints, each produced in a limited edition of just 200, were personally selected by Margaret Howell. \u2018After our exhibition of AR covers in 2023<\/a>, it was a pleasure to be asked to make another selection to celebrate the magazine\u2019s 130th anniversary,\u2019 Howell explains.<\/p>\n

The curated selection of \u2018striking\u2019 covers were chosen from the AR\u2019s archive of over 1,500 issues, selected by Howell for their \u2018unexpected, abstract nature\u2019.<\/p>\n

The selection includes AR covers from the 1940s to 1960s and features artwork by Le Corbusier among others.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork will be printed on 350gsm Hahnem\u00fchle museum etching paper with an edition number and debossed with the AR monogram.<\/p>\n

Limited-edition prints will be available for pre-order at the launch event and from the AR shop<\/a> from Thursday 14 May until Sunday 14 June<\/p>\n
