The in-studio team could be heard screaming, \u201cYou\u2019re going to be a mum!\u201d<\/p>\n

Tomasel said Gould \u201cdefinitely has a belly now\u201d, which she \u201ccan\u2019t hide anymore\u201d.<\/p>\n

The baby is due in July.<\/p>\n

Tomasel said the pregnancy had been \u201ca really long time coming\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been years and years,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s been a number of years where we didn\u2019t think it would ever happen for us. So we\u2019re super excited. It still doesn\u2019t feel real.\u201d<\/p>\n

The news comes weeks after the couple\u2019s Coromandel clifftop engagement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tomasel, 37, told the Herald she was \u201cbricking it\u201d moments before she got down on one knee and popped the question to her long-term partner Gould last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I said about two words on the walk up there, which is not like me,\u201d she said of the hike to the summit of Te Pare Point, which overlooks Gould\u2019s family bach.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe rest was pretty much a blur,\u201d the Celebrity Treasure Island host admitted<\/a>, describing the moment as \u201cchaotic\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlot twist: she said yes,\u201d Tomasel wrote on Instagram, posting a carousel of the images from the intimate moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cSophia \u2013 she\u2019s the most loyal, ride or die person, and that\u2019s what I\u2019ve always searched for,\u201d she told the Herald\u2019s Jenni Mortimer.<\/p>\n

The couple said their wedding would defy convention by forgoing a bridal party.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s kind of modern-day, it\u2019ll just be us up there, and we don\u2019t want to put that stress on anyone. And let\u2019s be real, no one wants to be a bridesmaid anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
