Patel said he was discharged from hospital on Friday morning and went to the store and reopened it.<\/p>\n
He was feeling well and only experiencing minor pain in his shoulder, he said.<\/p>\n
He said Mukesh had owned the shop for 23 years.<\/p>\n
They were receiving significant support from locals, with many stopping by, checking in and asking if the owner was okay. <\/p>\n
When asked if he felt safe after the incident, Rohan said the Camberley community was a safe one: <\/p>\n
\u201cYeah, we feel all right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hastings District councillor Henare O\u2019Keefe said he was saddened over the incident at a store that was a central point of the Camberley community.<\/p>\n
\u201cNothing can justify going into someone\u2019s shop, going into a place that provides a community with a service, and stabbing them.\u201d<\/p>\n
He expected the community would rally around the victims and the fact the store was open the next day was an incredible example of \u201ccourage and bravado\u201d.<\/p>\n
