Here\u2019s why Tim Cook says the iPhone 17 is performing so well, based on customer feedback.<\/p>\n<p>Apple\u2019s CEO lists five reasons people are buying iPhone 17 models<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/iPhone-sales-predicted-to-fall-next-year-and-be-more-expensive-to-make.jpg\" alt=\"iPhone sales predicted to fall next year, and be more expensive to make | iPhone 17 Pro, shown in Cosmic Orange\" class=\"wp-image-1032676\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday Apple revealed several key details related to the iPhone 17 family\u2019s breakout success.<\/p>\n<p>The company <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2026\/04\/30\/apple-says-iphone-17-lineup-is-officially-the-most-popular-in-its-history\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">shared<\/a> that the iPhone 17 lineup is officially the most popular in its history. And that it gained marketshare from Android during the quarter.<\/p>\n<p>It also highlighted a major customer satisfaction achievement. Per Apple CFO Kevan Parekh, \u201ccustomer satisfaction for the iPhone 17 family in the US was recently measured at 99% by 451 Research.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>99% customer satisfaction for the iPhone 17 line is a big win, which in part helps explain the sales success. If early adopters love the iPhone 17, they\u2019ll inspire more people to upgrade too.<\/p>\n<p>During the earnings call, one analyst asked CEO Tim Cook about the \u201cimpressive iPhone growth\u201d Apple has been seeing. And his answer revealed what customers are telling Apple about the iPhone 17\u2019s appeal.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s Cook\u2019s explanation:<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, if you look at it, it\u2019s the iPhone 17 family that\u2019s driving it, and that is, as you point out, is despite the supply constraints that we\u2019re experiencing.
