However, the driver was in \u201ca lot of shock\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was asking for water and his phone and he made sure that our friend was okay as well, which was really lovely.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another partygoer said the car was caught in a \u201creally tight space\u201d but the driver and passenger were \u201chelped out pretty easily\u201d.<\/p>\n
The car crashed into a downstairs bedroom, where a resident had been moments earlier.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re just lucky that nobody got fully injured … it was quite scary,\u201d the flatmate said.<\/p>\n
A video sent to the Herald shows a white Tesla being loaded on to a truck this morning after being winched out of the house.<\/p>\n
Hato Hone St John sent two ambulances, a critical care unit and an operations manager to the scene.<\/p>\n
Police said one person was sent to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition while another was treated at the scene for minor injuries.<\/p>\n
The house was deemed unsafe, forcing many partygoers to leave without their belongings.<\/p>\n
\u201cA lot of us didn\u2019t have shoes or phones … which had to be left in the house,\u201d the flatmate said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut the people that did have their phones, IDs and shoes did go out to town afterwards, including the birthday girl.\u201d <\/p>\n
