Burfoot was originally matched with Ryan Donnelly<\/a>, however the two proved to be better paired as rivals than as lovers, becoming estranged soon after their televised wedding. <\/p>\n

Donnelly later applied for an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO) against Burfoot<\/a>, with the New Zealander appearing in court in June last year.<\/p>\n

Burfoot and Rice announced their engagement last April<\/a> during a private viewing party for their reunion episode, with Rice proposing at a Sydney nightclub.<\/p>\n

\u201cSurrounded with love in love,\u201d Burfoot later wrote on social media, flashing her custom-made 5.08ct oval diamond solitaire ring, which is set in platinum and 18ct gold.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve been fed a highly edited fictional storyline, and I feel like you deserve to know the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

By the time the couple spoke to the Herald\u2019s Stephanie Holmes<\/a> in December, she was focused on the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe love each other to death,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
