Sabrina Carpenter is\u2026Sabrina at the 2026 Met Gala<\/a>. The \u201cManchild\u201d singer stepped out onto the red carpet<\/a> in a custom Dior slit tulle dress by Jonathan Anderson. The look pays homage to Audrey Hepburn\u2019s 1954 film Sabrina\u2014an homage further accentuated by the full-body wrap of rhinestone film strips. (If you zoom in, maybe you can catch a glimpse of costars Humphrey Bogart and William Holden in the film stills, too.)<\/p>\n

This year marks a special occasion for the singer. Not only did she just headline Coachella\u2014just like she said she would way back in 2025\u2014but she also joins this evening\u2019s event as a member of the host committee<\/a> alongside other megastars, including Teyana Taylor, Doja Cat<\/a>, Lisa<\/a>, Misty Copeland, and many more.<\/p>\n

Across her now four Met Gala<\/a> appearances, Carpenter has yet to carve out a single signature look. Instead, she\u2019s a wild card, leaving her fans guessing what could come next. That is, of course, by design. \u201cMy look for every year has been totally different,\u201d she told Vogue<\/a> ahead of last year\u2019s event. She made her debut in 2022 for \u201cIn America: An Anthology of Fashion,\u201d where she wore a golden two-piece set composed of a glittering bikini top and high-waist skirt by Rabanne<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2024, she kept things a little more subdued, opting for a black mermaid gown by Oscar de la Renta<\/a> that cascaded into a cloud of blue. Last year, Carpenter went all in<\/a> on the \u201cTailored for You\u201d dress code, sporting a pinstripe-bodysuit look by Louis Vuitton. The silhouette was also reminiscent of Lisa\u2019s Louis Vuitton blazer and sheer tights. (Perhaps it\u2019s kismet that they are both on this year\u2019s host committee.)<\/p>\n
