When asked about how they navigate honouring Lupita\u2019s boundaries, Carmen says it all comes down to communication.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know how else to put it,\u201d she said in an interview with People. She added that anything Lupita isn\u2019t comfortable with, physically or otherwise, \u201cwe just respect that\u201d.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s as simple as that for Lupita as well, who identifies as asexual. \u201cI have headphones and a phone,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t care.\u201d<\/p>\n

Strangers, however, are a different story, and Daniel says they\u2019re constantly crossing the line.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople are obsessed with sex, you know?\u201d Daniel said. \u201cAnd it is just like, frankly, it\u2019s none of your f**king business.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t understand why people need to know about my private parts [to] humanise us,\u201d added Carmen.<\/p>\n

Lupita says she\u2019s not a fan of being asked whether she\u2019ll ever love Daniel romantically.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love him as a brother,\u201d she says firmly, \u201cThat\u2019s about it.\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple are also not interested in becoming parents.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo kids, never plan on it,\u201d Daniel said, revealing that he prefers the idea of being an uncle figure, with the perk that you can \u201cgive them back\u201d at the end of the day.<\/p>\n
Carmen, who has been open on her YouTube page about being unable to get pregnant because of endometriosis and being on a hormone blocker, agrees. <\/p>\n
\u201cI never saw myself being a parent,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
In a previous interview with Today, Carmen revealed that she and her twin had often been fetishised online, and it was Daniel\u2019s nonchalant attitude about her condition that initially drew her to him.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe didn\u2019t lead with a question about my condition,\u201d she said. \u201cI have social anxiety, and I\u2019ve ended up cancelling dates at the last minute, but I felt calm on the way there.\u201d<\/p>\n

The twins, who have far outlived the three-day life expectancy doctors initially gave them, have amassed more than 257,000 followers on YouTube.<\/p>\n
The women said they plan to focus on their channel, including posting sketches that Lupita writes.<\/p>\n
