\n Natalie Woodburn, who runs NS Karate School in Barrow, has set up MyTownHub.\n<\/p>\n
\n The app is designed to bring together local businesses, services and events in one place.\n<\/p>\n
\n Covering Barrow, Ulverston, and Millom, it allows people to find and contact businesses directly.\n<\/p>\n
\n Users don\u2019t need to sign up; they simply open the app, select their town, and instantly see what\u2019s on and which businesses are available nearby.\n<\/p>\n
\n The app was built to simplify the way people find services.\n<\/p>\n
\n Natalie said: \u201cIt\u2019s already being shared across the community and reaching thousands of local families, so I\u2019m really excited to see it grow and support local businesses.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n She added: \u201cI set it up because, as a business owner, posting my classes on Facebook was messy and easy to lose.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cEvery day I was seeing \u2018can anyone recommend\u2026\u2019 posts, and it made me realise there wasn\u2019t one place where everything was visible and easy to find.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cAlso, as a mum, it\u2019s so helpful to quickly see who\u2019s available locally \u2013 like cleaners, dog walkers, clubs, etc \u2013 without having to search loads of different places.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cMyTownHub will make it easier for people to find and support local businesses in their own area, all in one place.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt will help businesses get seen by real local customers, without getting lost on social media, and make everyday life easier for people trying to find services, clubs, and things to do.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cLong term, I want it to become the go-to app for every town \u2013 where people go first when they need anything local.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n The app is already being introduced to thousands of local families through an existing karate network across 25 primary schools.\n<\/p>\n
\n Parents are directed to the app to view class information and book Natalie\u2019s karate classes, creating a strong local audience and helping businesses get in front of real users from day one.\n<\/p>\n
\n Natalie said: \u201cI feel lucky to be in 25 schools and want to help other businesses by bringing their services in front of those families too.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n MyTownHub is a growing local platform designed to bring communities together.\n<\/p>\n
