It was clear he wanted to stick it out, but we all got it wrong.\u201d <\/p>\n The Cowboys also lost hooker Soni Luke to a knee injury in a double blow. He is set for a month on the sidelines after scans revealed he sustained a high-grade MCL tear.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s in a brace, he\u2019s done a medial, so a scan tomorrow will dictate how long, but it\u2019s going to be a week or two at least,\u201d Payten said. <\/p>\n The Cowboys looked to have the game won at 30-22 in the 75th minute before they conceded two late tries to force golden point and then conceded a three point play to Mitchell Moses to lose the unlosable game. <\/p>\n \u201cYou want my honest answer, we showed a lack of respect to our most capped player.\u201d Payten said. <\/p>\n \u201cI felt we showed a lack of respect to our captain with eight minutes to go, trying to push passes when he\u2019s on one leg. <\/p>\n \u201cShowed a lack of respect to the ball with 18 errors and got exactly what was coming, so really angry right at the minute.\u201d<\/p>\n Payten was gutted for Taumalolo, who passed Johnathan Thurston to become the most capped Cowboy of all-time with his 295th game. <\/p>\n \u201cI haven\u2019t seen him, he\u2019s still seeing friends and family and what he does well is interact with our fans after games,\u201d Payten said. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m just disappointed for him.
