Comments were flooded with excited locals and fans thrilled to see the Hollywood actor experiencing Northland.<\/p>\n

\u201cJames Bond at the local chippie,\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n

Others shared their praise for the Doubtless Bay company\u2019s food.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe went to the best fish n chip place in the north,\u201d another comment reads, while others said they had enjoyed an \u201camazing meal\u201d at the local eatery.<\/p>\n

Brosnan has been seen at several popular spots around the country in the past week, part of what is thought to be a low-profile family holiday.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the Irish acting legend was seen dining at Soul Bar & Bistro<\/a> on Auckland\u2019s Viaduct.<\/p>\n

He has also been sighted at several art galleries<\/a> in the North Island, including Auckland\u2019s Gow Langsford Gallery.<\/p>\n

Gallery director Anna Jackson told the Herald that Brosnan had been a \u201cthoughtful and genuinely curious\u201d visitor to the Onehunga gallery.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Brosnan] spent time with our current exhibition, Brett Graham\u2019s Doorway to Night, and also enjoyed viewing a broader selection of works by other artists across the gallery,\u201d Jackson said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was very generous with the staff and artists he met \u2013 a real gentleman and funny.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 72-year-old has long been passionate about visual art and illustration, debuting a solo exhibition So Many Dreams in 2023.<\/p>\n

Jackson said it had been a \u201cpleasure\u201d to host the star but wouldn\u2019t share details of any specific purchases or requests out of respect for the privacy of \u201call visitors and collectors\u201d.<\/p>\n
