Recipients can scan the code with their iPhone to quickly access and download the shared files.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"763\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1778856189_974_gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"Android users can now share files with iPhones via QR code\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The new feature was announced during The Android Show: I\/O Edition earlier this week. When an iPhone user scans the QR code with the Camera app, the selected files are securely uploaded to the cloud and delivered through a private download link.<\/p>\n<p>According to Google, the transferred files are protected with end-to-end encryption and remain available for download for up to 24 hours.
