Ferrell then notes, \u201cI\u2019ll be hosting the season finale of SNL but you don\u2019t care, you\u2019ll tune in for Paul McCartney.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McCartney chimes in with, \u201cthat\u2019s not true,\u201d with Ferrell replying, \u201cit is true,\u201d before McCartney concedes, \u201cit is true.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also one promo video where McCartney admits he\u2019s a \u201chuge fan\u201d of Hernandez\u2019s mom, and another where\u00a0the pair ask Sir Paul what it\u2019s like being a knight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an honor. I\u2019m so lucky that so many people have enjoyed my music over the years,\u201d he says, before adding, \u201cand one time I killed a dragon,\u201d which excites Ferrell and Hernandez<\/p>\n<p>The final promo has Ferrell and Hernandez trying to guess what McCartney is going to perform on SNL, and they both choose \u201cDespacito (Remix)\u201d featuring Justin Bieber, with McCartney replying, \u201cDamn, how did you know?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Saturday Night Live, McCartney is set to\u00a0appear\u00a0on the BBC Radio 2 podcast Tracks Of My Years with Vernon Kay on May 25, where he\u2019ll discuss\u00a0his favorite records. In a preview posted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DYUguH3Mt6o\/?e=737f9c00-f4bd-4050-9384-46e74b532995&amp;g=5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Instagram<\/a>, McCartney talks about meeting Elvis and playing with The Rolling Stones, and even\u00a0sings a bit of The Human League\u2019s \u201cDon\u2019t You Want Me.\u201d The clip ends with McCartney about to\u00a0explain why John Lennon\u2019s \u201cImagine\u201d made his list, before\u00a0cutting off.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026, ABC Audio.
