Self proclaimed \u201cfuturist, entrepreneur, investor and adventurer\u201d Kyron Gosse speaks from off camera:\u00a0\u201cStop trying to be perfect. Come here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Savannah Carter does not \u201ccome here\u201d, remaining on the swiveling office chair she\u2019s sitting on.\u00a0 Instead, Gosse steps into frame and hits her across the face with his open, right palm. It\u2019s a slap. Carter blinks, seemingly shocked. She smiles in the way you smile when you\u2019re trapped in a situation you don\u2019t know how to deal with.<\/p>\n
Gosse leaves the frame, tittering and laughing.<\/p>\n
\u201cStop being perfect,\u201d he says as he walks back into frame, placing a hand on her shoulder. \u201cYou fucking slapped me,\u201d Carter replies, flinging her arm out, removing his hand from her body.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cGo, get it out, get it out\u201d Gosse replies, seemingly egging her on. \u201cNo, no,\u201d she says.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cJust relax,\u201d he says, suddenly pulsing up and down on the spot, like a boxer in the ring. She flinches at this, before awkwardly adjusting her position in her chair. \u201cI can\u2019t believe you just slapped me, that\u2019s on camera,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

Kyron Gosse is based in Auckland, New Zealand. His website, KyronGosse.com<\/a>, outlines his philosophy:\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cKyron believes that the convergence of exponential technologies will ultimately result in the possibility of zero cost living – that is where every person can have access to safe shelter, clean drinking water, healthy nutritious food and an abundance of clean electricity, with minimal to zero cost to the user.\u00a0<\/p>\n As an entrepreneur, Kyron explores how we can create this outcome today by exploring different business models, alternative property developments and building a\u00a0 community of like-minded thinkers.\u201d<\/p>\n Putting it more simply: Gosse is a wealth coach.<\/p>\n I last remember hearing his name in a story in March: \u201cSausage fest: All-male speaker lineup draws ire from women investors<\/a>\u201d. Gosse was one of the sausages, part of an apparent all-male lineup at an upcoming Property Investors Summit. <\/p>\n Gosse is still listed on the website<\/a>:\u00a0<\/p>\n Kyron Gosse is also the CEO of Wealth Mentor Limited<\/a>, which aims to \u201cteach regular people how to create financial freedom and build intergenerational wealth through property investing.\u201d<\/p>\n Savannah Carter started contracting there in 2023, telling Webworm:<\/p>\n \u201cI started as a student in the wealth mentor community. They provide education around property investing and trading, and I joined before Kyron bought the business.\u00a0<\/p>\n Kyron bought the business six months or so into my joining, and became the CEO. [Then] I started occasionally contracting for them on an ad-hoc basis to share my story and my journey, essentially as a testimonial. So I would speak on stage, or speak at the online workshops.\u00a0<\/p>\n That progressively became more and more frequent, and then I was invited to join the leadership team. I started running what we call the road show, where a few of us in the leadership team would travel the country and speak at a free event that would lead into a three-day workshop, which would lead into the full mentorship package.\u00a0<\/p>\n And then that progressed into my becoming the service delivery lead. Basically, I became the face of the community.\u201d<\/p>\n She speaks carefully as she talks to me, holding back emotion. <\/p>\n \u201cI don’t believe that he has ever had the intention to physically cause me harm. I don’t think that he’s ever wanted to hurt me in that physical sense. He didn’t do these things out of anger. But that does not make it okay.\u201d<\/p>\n Savannah says there was no apology for the slap, which allegedly occurred in 2024. She stayed on, hoping things would improve. They didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n \u201cThere were [other] verbal and emotional assaults. On one occasion he spat a spit wad at me through a straw which hit me in the face.\u201d<\/p>\n Finally, Savannah resigned in February. She tells me she believed in the work Wealth Mentor Limited did, buying a 10% share in the business, which she still holds. <\/p>\n \u201cYou know, my shares might be worthless after all of this has come out – but my desire here is to incite change. Because it’s not just about me, it’s about everybody that has been bullied in the workplace or at school or assaulted in any capacity.\u201d<\/p>\n Two days ago, Savannah Carter posted the video<\/a> to coincide with Pink Shirt day, an anti-bullying initiative in New Zealand.<\/p>\n The footage is difficult to watch. It\u2019s icky, it\u2019s awkward, it\u2019s a man standing over a woman slapping her once across the face. \u201cI wasn\u2019t planning on going public, but unfortunately the relationship between myself and Wealth Mentor has deteriorated even further\u201d, she wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n Yesterday, she received two emails from Gosse. The first, sent at 3.21pm, urged the \u201creturn of company property\u201d. The second arrived at 3.23pm was a cease and desist.<\/p>\n Webworm has both these emails. <\/p>\n For clarity, the Footage is company-controlled material. Any access previously provided to you was on a limited basis for viewing purposes only and did not include any right to retain, copy, distribute, publish, or otherwise use the Footage.<\/p>\n Please confirm by return email that:<\/p>\n -you do not hold any copies of the Footage; or The email went on to threaten legal action. <\/p>\n Then came the second email:<\/p>\n […]<\/p>\n Remove and permanently delete all copies of the Footage from your possession, custody, or control.<\/p>\n The second email also went on to threaten legal action.<\/p>\n Webworm has reached out to Gosse for comment.<\/p>\n As I send this newsletter out, he appears to be taking his websites and social media offline. His Facebook is mostly locked<\/a>:<\/p>\n His YouTube channel<\/a> is offline:<\/p>\n His Instagram<\/a> is set to private:<\/p>\n His websites are also going offline: Freedomco.nz<\/a> returns a 404 Error \u2013 <\/p>\n – although the Internet Archive<\/a> shows what the website used to be, where Gosse called himself \u201cThe Freedom Investor\u201d.<\/p>\n His other site, KyronGosse.com<\/a>, has also dropped offline \u2013 although it too is still browsable on the Internet Archive<\/a>.<\/p>\n On his personal site he boasts about his futurism abilities, and athletic prowess:<\/p>\n \u201cAs an endurance athlete, Kyron spends his time running ridiculously stupid distances with the goal of seeing just what his body and mind are capable of achieving when pushed to the absolute limits.\u201d<\/p>\n I wonder how slapping a contractor fits into his \u201cabsolute limits\u201d philosophy.
