A spokesperson for TikTok today told news.com.au: \u201cthe user deactivated their own account; it was not banned.\u201d<\/p>\n
news.com.au has contacted Meta for comment, but they have not responded at time of publication.<\/p>\n
Ms Zacharia believed that the obligations had been met. <\/p>\n
\u201cI came through. I promised I\u2019d post it. I promised I\u2019d tag her in it. I thought that everything was okay. And had I known that it wasn\u2019t. 100 per cent would have done it. Like I\u2019m not here to I\u2019m not here to be mean to people. I\u2019m not here to use people,\u201d Ms Zacharia said. <\/p>\n
Ms Lee claims follow-up attempts to contact the Ms Zacharia failed. <\/p>\n
\u201cI followed up multiple times, requesting content, asking when she was receiving her main account back to post and more. There were periods of time where I was completely ignored and left on seen, then never responded to at all,\u201d Ms Lee said.<\/p>\n
Ms Lee spotted The Gloss Over Pod\u2019s interview with Ms Zacharia at Australian Fashion Week on social media. <\/p>\n
\u201cOver the three and half months I was on MAFS I spent nearly $20,000. On MAFS you get no budget for fashion. I was the only bride on MAFS who bought all my own dresses. Everyone else hired,\u201d she told the reporter. <\/p>\n
Ms Zacharia has now clarified what she meant by those comments to news.com.au. <\/p>\n
\u201cI was thinking about commitment ceremonies, dinner parties, accessorising on the show. I wasn\u2019t thinking about that final vow dress,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
Ms Lee shared her own perspective on Instagram where she shared screenshots of messages from Ms Zacharia. <\/p>\n
In the viral clip, Ms Lee claims she was \u201cpromised lots of exposure,\u201d but all she got in return was a \u201csingular tag on her burner account\u201d labelling the experience \u201cincredibly disappointing.\u201d <\/p>\n
The post has since been flooded with supportive comments. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis is so sad. You have the kindest soul and put so much effort into every single bride who walks through your doors!\u201d a user wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, that\u2019s sucky!! Good on ya for standing up for yourself. Hope you absolutely smash some goals,\u201d another praised.<\/p>\n
Fellow castmate from Ms Zacharia\u2019s season, Gia Fleur, commented: \u201cI\u2019m so sorry, this isn\u2019t OK! I would be honoured to wear and post your dresses.\u201d <\/p>\n
Many did come to the defence of Ms Zacharia.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s one dress though? She still bought all her own dresses. I get it, but she still tagged you,\u201d one person defended.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn future, get a contract! I think calling her out on socials is just as bad, though \u2013 try contacting the person directly!\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n
Former 2024 MAFS bride Lauren Dunn urged people to \u201cleave Bec alone\u201d in a TikTok, claiming that the burner account tag \u201cis enough.\u201d <\/p>\n
Ms Zacharia issued an apology on Instagram, explaining she\u2019s \u201cincredibly grateful\u201d to have worn the dress.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlthough Final Vows was one of the most emotional and difficult days I\u2019ve ever experienced, I still felt beautiful, supported and confident in a dress that was made with so much care and talent. That should absolutely be acknowledged,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere was never any intention to overlook or disrespect Savannah and RESRVD Hire, and I sincerely apologise that it came across that way. In the chaos and emotion surrounding that time, I simply didn\u2019t handle it perfectly.\u201d<\/p>\n
She thanked the business owner for the dress and for making her \u201cfeel special during such a vulnerable moment in my life.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cI truly appreciate the work, creativity and love that goes into pieces like this, and credit where credit is due that you helped me feel beautiful on this day,\u201d she ended the post.<\/p>\n
Ms Lee told news.com.au a private apology is yet to be made.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have received messages from Bec; both after the original comments on the fashion week video were going viral and after my video has gone viral. She has NOT apologised in these messages or anything close to it,\u201d she told news.com.au <\/p>\n
Ms Zacharia claims that the collateral from the drama has been both of her Instagram accounts which she says have been suspended by Meta. <\/p>\n
It\u2019s a blow to the star who had been relying on the pages as an income source after the MAFS whirlwind.<\/p>\n
\u201cI literally don\u2019t have anything now. Nothing,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s now completely turned my life into shambles. I have no access to my TikTok. I have no access to my Instagram. And my Instagram now is what? The only job I have.
