Seems obvious, right? Or at least, it was until recently \u2013 because with the new Constellation Observatory collection, Omega has rewritten horological history.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">These are the first two-hand watches \u2013 they have just hour and minute hands \u2013 to reach this most exacting of quality standards.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"New Omega Constellation Observatory watches in O-Megasteel. Photo: Handout<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">It comes after exhaustive tests over 25 days by the Laboratoire de Pr\u00e9cision, an independent chronometer testing lab established by Omega in 2023, and certified by METAS, the official Swiss national measurement authority.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">It was a new system used in the tests, known as Dual Metric Technology, that made it possible to measure watches like those in the Constellation Observatory collection, without seconds hands, to Master Chronometer standards.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"All the new Omega Constellation Observatory watches come in a 39.4mm case.
