It’s been another huge week on the island for vanquishing threats, establishing alliances, and hearing some of the most lukewarm rap battles ever recorded. “Georgia, tell me, where is your sand?” spat MC Frank Bunce. “Oh no, it fell out right through my hand!” Lines replied. Mom’s spaghetti is trembling. It’s a reminder that the big treasure hunt finale is right around the corner, so no wonder the intense strategic gameplay continues to be dialled up to 11 and the celebrities continue to cry every moment of their lives. So who is caught in the middle of a guilty lasagne and who is stubbornly sticking around like a dry Weet-Bix on the roof of a mouth? Let us see where the McDonald’s chips are falling.

ELIMINATED: Zion Dayal
The giant slayer himself

Rest in power to the lad they call the giant slayer, the lion killer, and even sometimes the dragon slayer when they get their fantastic beasts all muddled up. This humble TVNZ sports reporter defeated a Black Fern, a poonami survivor and a Fast and Furious star, which is more than most of us can say of our time on this crazy blue marble. Hereby launching a campaign to change his 1News name key to “giant slayer”, just for the fans.

ELIMINATED: MC Frank Bunce
Paint him like one of your French girls.

I think it is written in the Celebrity Treasure Island show bible that every season must come with at least one emotional All Black moment, and Bunce delivered this week. Hunkering down at camp in wild weather, Bunce opened up about losing his dad at a young age. “I wish we could tell him how much we loved him and how much we appreciated what he did,” he said. “Don’t leave things unsaid.”

Alas, Bunce soon got sent home by way of drinking a lemon shot too slowly (happens to the best of us), but left the audience with one more tear-jerker. “Turns out this game was not about finding treasure, but about finding myself.”

ELIMINATED: Ria Vandervis
A brutal goodbye to Ria

After throwing a challenge last week to pledge her allegiance to the Tiddy Committee, Ria was looking like the one to beat. She methodically stacked blocks to win a butter chicken reward and a five minute advantage during the final treasure hunt, before also taking out the individual face off (albeit with a lot of support from her fellow Tiddies). But with so much anxiety looming about whether Louis would play his mercy card for Liv or not, Ria was eventually put up against the TikTok giant and sent home in this Cirque de Soleil x Twister nightmare.

4. Liv Parker
Liv was on the ropes this week in more ways than one

She showed off her Toi Whakaari chops with some expert charades during the puzzle challenge, embodying the complex character of “cross” with aplomb (“it all comes back to the symbols” – F. Bunce). But then she also got a question about her very own brother wrong in the trivia challenge, so it’s been real swings and roundabouts for Liv this week. Still, she is well-positioned in both the Tiddy Committee and as Louis’ best bud on the show, and history will remind us never to write off a Parker until the final showdown.

3. Nix Adams
Nix when you steal her McDonald’s

Not only did Nix pioneer the naming of the Tiddy Committee, but she also found a groundbreaking method to locate a box while blindfolded: rolling around like a untethered rotisserie chicken. She continues to be the most crack-up presence on the island – “if any of you outbid me I might punch you in your sleep tonight” she threatened during the McDonald’s auction – but there was no laughing when her closest ally Ria was put up by Georgia at the last minute. For what felt like the first time in the competition, Nix was left speechless. Will it be the fuel she needs to make it through to the final next week? We are crossing our tiddies.

2. Georgia Lines
Georgia made a big move this week – will it pay off?

It was a quieter week for Georgia until she untangled her “Lines” and won the individual face-off tonight. Winning a succulent vegetarian lasagna to share, she brought along Liv as a way of sweetening the news that she was going to put her up for elimination against Louis. But then, a twist: she decided to put Ria up instead at the last minute. Was it because she thought she’d be the best-placed to beat him? Or is Georgia playing 4D chess and thinking about her own odds in the final? Whatever the motive, it was a big move and we love to see it.

1. Louis Davis

I feel like a sexist pig for putting the only bloke in the top spot, but Louis played an incredible game this week. Despite feeling like he was “at a party where nobody wants me there”, he survived two elimination battles to emerge the only fella left on the island, and decided to show his advantages to the rest of the team as a way of playing an “honest” game. Whether his intentions were pure or not, it was a move that threw a mercy card among the pigeons, and sent camp into a tailspin about his next move. He bluffed (or was he bluffing?) his way through and lives to fight another day – and he’s still got that damn mercy card in his pocket.

Hold onto your tiddies folks, it’s going to be a big final week.

Celebrity Treasure Island continues Monday 7.30pm on TVNZ2 and streams on TVNZ+.

Alex Casey power ranks week four on Celebrity Treasure Island 2026. Lions and giants and wolves, oh my!…

[8
143509,196411,156,111,139,69,223864,72270,1066,1093,6445
post-437775","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-celebrity-treasure-island","tag-cti","tag-entertainment","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-nz-reality","tag-nz-tv","tag-pop-culture","tag-reality-tv","tag-tvnz
["GET
