The 37-year-old daughter of musician Phil Collins said in a video message to fans: \u201cSeason 6 will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily\u2019s adventure of a lifetime.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season, which we\u2019re now filming. I can\u2019t wait for all the magic ahead, and to celebrate our final season with you in the most chic way yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
Collins previously described the parallels between herself and Emily.<\/p>\n
She told Marie Claire: \u201cI\u2019m a constant optimist, I\u2019m a go-getter. I\u2019m super enthusiastic about my work and about my friendships. I\u2019m solution-driven, I\u2019m very much that kind of optimistic, inspirational attitude that Emily Cooper has.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think I learned quicker than Emily about asking for help from people, that it\u2019s okay to ask for help. It\u2019s a strength, not a weakness. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s okay not to be liked by everyone.
