Next year is the iPhone\u2019s 20th anniversary, and new leaks corroborate a prior report that Apple\u2019s iPhone 19 Pro models will both feature a radical new design.<\/p>\n

iPhone 19 Pro and Pro Max rumored to have quad-curved display, under-display Face ID<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, analyst Jeff Pu shared a report<\/a> that brought a lot of clarity to Apple\u2019s iPhone plans for next year.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been expecting a unique new 20th anniversary design with:<\/p>\n

quad-curved display for a bezel-free appearance<\/p>\n

under-display Face ID, leaving only a hole-punch cutout or no cutout at all<\/a><\/p>\n

Until Pu\u2019s report, indications were that this \u2018iPhone 20\u2019 would be a brand new model in the lineup. But he claimed that the new design was actually coming to the Pro and Pro Max models in 2027.<\/p>\n

Now, that report has been corroborated by a reputable supply chain leaker, Digital Chat Station.<\/p>\n

In a new post on Weibo<\/a>, and a follow-up reply, he affirms that Apple\u2019s \u2018iPhone 19 Pro\u2019 line\u2014or whatever special branding it might get\u2014will have the quad-curved screen design that\u2019s been previously rumored.<\/p>\n

Per his post, the new design is going through \u201cevaluation testing\u201d in the mass production line.<\/p>\n

Digital Chat Station\u2019s corroboration of Pu\u2019s prior claim adds significant weight to the idea that Apple\u2019s 20th anniversary design won\u2019t be a totally separate model. <\/p>\n

Instead, as Mark Gurman originally reported<\/a>, it\u2019s a redesign intended for iPhone 19 Pro and Pro Max.<\/p>\n

The new Pro models will presumably be joined in the 2027 lineup by a second-gen iPhone Ultra<\/a>. A new iPhone Air might debut too.<\/p>\n
