Founded in Cheltenham in 2014 by Tim Horrocks, rockwealth<\/a>\u00a0is a Gloucestershire-built business success story \u2013 having grown into a national group with 20 offices, including the launch of its new rockwealth Cotswolds office<\/a>\u00a0in Cirencester <\/a>in March 2026, as well as a new Glasgow location due to open in September 2026.<\/p>\n

rockwealth’s Cheltenham\u00a0headquarters has also expanded to a team of nine people in recent months, which Tim said was\u00a0in response to client demand.<\/p>\n

\u2018rockwealth advises on around \u00a31 billion of client assets, and at least a third of that is managed from Cheltenham,\u2019 he said. \u2018That\u2019s a responsibility we don\u2019t take lightly. We\u2019re talking about life-affirming decisions for our clients: the ability to travel, to gift money to children or to retire with the confidence that they can afford to.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘As demand for our services grows, we are growing our headquarters team to nine people to ensure every client receives the personalised financial planning they value us for.\u2019<\/p>\n

The latest appointments in Cheltenham include Kirsty Wake, who joins to lead rockwealth\u2019s paraplanning team supporting offices nationwide, alongside Jordan Kontarines, appointed head of advisory growth to help develop the firm\u2019s national operations.<\/p>\n

Tim went on to say that the company\u2019s national growth has been built on the foundations established in Gloucestershire.<\/p>\n

\u2018rockwealth has grown because we created a clear philosophy centred on client outcomes,\u2019 he explained. \u2018Experienced advisers across the profession have recognised that their own principles are reflected in what we stand for. We\u2019ve partnered with them to help them establish firms that follow the same approach.\u2019<\/p>\n

As well as being a highly visible brand, rockwealth has built its reputation on fixed-fee financial planning and evidence-based investing, challenging more traditional wealth management models by rejecting expensive active fund management strategies.<\/p>\n

The firm\u2019s approach comes from decades of academic research which it says shows that low-cost, diversified portfolios consistently outperform actively managed funds over the long term.<\/p>\n

\u2018No one has a crystal ball,\u2019 Tim said. \u2018Even if we knew what tomorrow\u2019s news holds, we still wouldn\u2019t know how markets will react to it. It\u2019s frankly a waste of money paying for crystal balls that people don\u2019t possess.\u2019<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, Tim revealed the business is targeting between 30 and 50 offices across the UK within the next five years, as it continues scaling its Cheltenham-founded model nationwide.<\/p>\n

\u2018What we\u2019re doing is designed around clients, not products,\u2019 Tim added. \u2018When you remove the conflicts of interest that exist in traditional wealth management, you end up with something people actually want.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018We have been disruptive in the profession. People have recognised that what we\u2019re doing is designed to give clients a better outcome \u2013 and that\u2019s really powered our growth.\u2019<\/p>\n
