Miley Cyrus<\/a> is the latest star to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old singer and actress was honored with the star on Friday morning (May 22) in Hollywood. <\/p>\n

Miley was joined at the event by her fiance Maxx Morando<\/a>, mom Tish Cyrus<\/a>, sister Brandi Cyrus<\/a>, and friends Anya Taylor-Joy<\/a> and Donatella Versace<\/a>, who both spoke on her behalf at the event. <\/p>\n

Anya opened up about how she first discovered Miley\u2018s career as a child. <\/p>\n

I was 10 years old, recently back from a vacation in Florida with my parents and clutching my prized J-14 tween magazine to my chest. On the back, a beautiful girl wearing a wig that would become the blueprint for every pop star\u2019s hair since then held a finger to her lips. And I knew that this, and her, were going to be huge.<\/p>\n

Anya noted<\/a>, \u201cToday as she takes her rightful place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, we\u2019re not just celebrating a career, we\u2019re celebrating a woman who taught an entire generation how to own their story. Even when it\u2019s messy, even when it changes, and especially when it doesn\u2019t fit neatly into a box.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donatella made a cute remark that connected to fashion.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust remember, if any of you guys step over Miley Cyrus\u2019 star, do it with attitude and, if possible, in high heels,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n
