You know this. I know this. Your bank account knows this. But the U.S. Department of Labor <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/USDOL\/status\/2054901068681662483\" rel=\"nofollow\">posted<\/a> this monstrosity of a chart that shows the handful of things that decreased in price, as if it were something to brag about.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/news.release\/cpi.t02.htm\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Here is the full dataset<\/a> from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Out of 340 line items, only 15% of them showed a negative change.
