No awards show brings the heat quite like the AMAs.<\/p>\n

The 52nd Annual American Music Awards<\/a> returns May 25 with Queen Latifah<\/a> serving as this year’s host. The music icon co-hosted the event in 1995, and performed in 2008.<\/p>\n

While Taylor Swift<\/a>, who had the most nominations with eight, is not attending, several nominees and presenters sizzled in an array of bold looks.<\/p>\n

Host Queen Latifah seemed unfazed by the temperature in Las Vegas (94) degrees when she stepped onto the carpet in a feathery coat. The same went for EJAE, who made an entrance in a high-neck gown.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, other attendees seemed to dress for the weather, among them Sombr, whose buttonless shirt revealed his chest, and Paula Abdul, who picked a semi-sheer dress for the occasion.<\/p>\n

The 52nd American Music Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, are airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT on CBS and and streaming on Paramount+.<\/p>\n
