A glimpse from the session was shared online by Sadhguru himself, where Ranveer opened up about a question he had posed to his followers before the interaction. Speaking to the spiritual leader, the actor said, “Yesterday I put a tweet out saying I’m meeting Sadhguruji tomorrow. What should I ask him? And 80% was, what is the purpose of life? What is the purpose of life?”

Responding to the actor’s query, Sadhguru shared his perspective in his signature philosophical style. “When you ask what is the purpose of life, essentially you are asking what is the use of life. There is no use, even if you are not born, everything would be fine. Believe me, actually it would be better. There is no purpose. Life is a phenomena beyond this nonsensical logical calculations about what is the purpose of this, what is the purpose of that, what is the use of this? There is no use. It is just that life is a bigger phenomenon than your intellect.”

The interaction has sparked significant discussion online, with fans reacting to both Ranveer’s curiosity and Sadhguru’s blunt take on life and existence. Many users praised the actor for initiating conversations beyond films and celebrity culture.

The viral session also comes at a time when Ranveer Singh has been making headlines for reasons beyond his on-screen appearances. Despite the success of Dhurandhar, the actor is currently embroiled in controversy over reports claiming that he walked out of Don 3, allegedly causing major financial setbacks to filmmaker-producer Farhan Akhtar. While there has been widespread speculation around the project, neither Ranveer nor the makers have issued an official clarification so far.

Amid the ongoing buzz surrounding his professional life, Ranveer’s spiritual conversation with Sadhguru has now added another layer to the public discourse around the actor.
