Eternal\u2019s food delivery arm Zomato has launched a new feature called \u201cHealthy Subscriptions\u201d under its Healthy Mode offering which enables users to pre-plan healthy meals from partner restaurants.<\/p>\n
The feature lets users subscribe to curated lunch and dinner meal plans for durations of 3, 5, or 15 days. Besides, customers can also customise meals in advance, reschedule deliveries, update addresses, or cancel subscriptions depending on their schedules.<\/p>\n
According to Zomato, all dishes available under the subscription menu carry a \u201cHigh\u201d Healthy Score, based on parameters such as protein density, fibre content, ingredient quality, carb density and cooking methods. The company said these nutritional insights are AI-generated using information available on the platform.<\/p>\n
The feature is currently live in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru, with plans to expand to more cities in the coming months.<\/p>\n
Notably, Zomato had launched Healthy Mode in 2025 to help users discover healthier food options on the platform. Under the feature, dishes are assigned ratings ranging from \u201cLow\u201d to \u201cSuper\u201d based on nutritional metrics including protein, fibre, complex carbohydrates and micronutrients.<\/p>\n
In September 2025, Zomato cofounder Deepinder Goyal had said the company wanted to make \u201cgenuinely nourishing food\u201d more accessible to users.<\/p>\n
The latest development comes amid intensifying competition in India\u2019s fast-expanding healthy food delivery segment, with food delivery majors such as Zomato and Swiggy vying to capture a larger slice of the country\u2019s healthy food and beverage market, which is projected to reach nearly a size of $25 Bn by 2030.<\/a><\/p>\n The sector\u2019s growth is being driven by rising health awareness, a growing middle class and the rapid expansion of quick commerce platforms. Meanwhile, healthier snacks and functional food products are seeing strong demand, gradually changing how consumers eat and order food.<\/p>\n
