Premiering at Toronto International Film Festival last year, Carolina Caroline follows a Bonnie and Clyde-style romance between the two leads as they commit a streak of crimes.<\/p>\n
Directed by Adam Carter Rehmeier, who previously worked with Gallner on Sundance darling Dinner in America, the movie follows the titular Caroline (Weaving), who wants to break free from the small-town life she’s forced to live as she cares for her father, played by The White Lotus’ Jon Gries. Enter smooth drifter Oliver (Gallner), who charms her and teaches her his criminal ways.<\/p>\n
