For years, Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse have been in a relationship.<\/p>\n
But it all changed after the couple welcomed their first child last year, according to Waterhouse.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Variety, the 34-year-old acknowledged the new realities amid parenthood.<\/p>\n
“Your old relationship has been wiped out,” she said, before insisting her love for Pattison did not wane.<\/p>\n
“And so it’s building that new one and kind of celebrating the beauty in that, like, we’ve survived this.”<\/p>\n
However, the journey of motherhood, Waterhouse says, is an emotional rollercoaster.<\/p>\n
As she explains, in addition to her relationship, her identity as well has been touched by it.<\/p>\n
“I felt like my identity had been cut open in becoming a mother and also having a lot of expectations on myself.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
In a brutally honest manner, Waterhouse also added, “Internally, there’s been quite a lot of turmoil and just wondering if I’m doing the right thing.”<\/p>\n
Then the hormones.<\/p>\n
Waterhouse, whose upcoming album Loveland is set to drop in early July, revealed the intensity of hormones after given birth.<\/p>\n
“And especially, oh my God, the hormones right after you have a baby are so intense.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
She continued, It’s like [I got] belief back in myself and then also being.”<\/p>\n
The musician said her appreciation for her partner multiplied multi-fold during the period.<\/p>\n
“I don’t want to say back in love with my partner, because it sounds like I was out of it, which I never was.”<\/p>\n
Waterhouse and Pattison began dating in 2018.<\/p>\n
