The food is always on point, and it\u2019s one of those places you can rely on whether you\u2019re catching up with friends or just grabbing a solid feed to start the day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Best restaurant for dinner with friends?<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">For dinner, it\u2019s definitely Hanna Korean BBQ. It\u2019s perfect for a group setting \u2013 great food, interactive cooking and just an all-around good vibe when you\u2019re out with friends. Also his special seasoning spice is out of this world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">The place to take a visitor to?<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">I\u2019m a big foodie, so I love taking visitors to the Auckland Night Markets. They pop up in different locations around the city throughout the week, and it\u2019s a great way to try a variety of foods all in one place while soaking in the atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Best spot to finish a night out?<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Honestly, my favourite place to end a night is home. It\u2019s the best way to recharge, relax, and reset before getting ready to tackle whatever the next day brings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Best coffee?<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">I\u2019m not a big coffee drinker, but when I do feel like one, I\u2019ll go to either Ruby Red Cafe or the cafe at M\u0101ngere Arts Centre. Both have a good vibe and never disappoint.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Favourite fish-and-chip shop?<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">My go-to is Toby\u2019s Seafood. You can\u2019t beat a solid fish and chips feed, and having fresh seafood options there just takes it to another level.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Hiking trail?<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">The Mercer Bay Loop Track is my favourite. The views are unreal, and it\u2019s a great trail whether you\u2019re going solo or with others. Probably not a good track if you have a baby stroller.\u202f<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Venue for a gig?<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">I\u2019d say M\u0101ngere Arts Centre. It\u2019s got a special place for me \u2013 it\u2019s where everything really started, so it always feels meaningful going back there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Best spot for a bargain?<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">I\u2019m a big fan of op shops. You never know what you\u2019re going to find, and there are always hidden gems if you take the time to look.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Epine Bob Savea stars in the world premiere of Sons of Vao with Auckland Theatre Company\u2019s, on from June 18 \u2013 July 5 at ASB Waterfront Theatre.
