\u201cThe crew member has not been sighted since falling overboard,\u201d the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

The crew member is a foreign national and the relevant foreign mission has been informed, Maritime NZ said.<\/p>\n

The incident comes about six weeks after a crew member was lost overboard from the fishing vessel Mariner<\/a> while working in the Southern Ocean.<\/p>\n

The Transport Accident Investigation Commission (TAIC) said the crew member was knocked overboard by a float while deploying fishing gear.<\/p>\n

The search was later suspended<\/a>.<\/p>\n
