Photo \/ NZME<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">Mountain Bike Rotorua director Tak Mutu said they appreciated the Government and local council recognising the value of Whakarewarewa Forest, its trails and the infrastructure that supports them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cWhakarewarewa Forest is an absolute asset for Rotorua, both as a much-loved recreational space for locals and as one of the single biggest contributors to our city\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cYou only have to see the stream of cars arriving in Rotorua every weekend with bikes on the back to understand how much value the bike park brings to our city.
