<\/p>\nActor Zahan Kapoor is looking ahead to an eventful phase in his career following the success of Black Warrant, the Netflix India series that earned widespread attention and has already been renewed for a second season. The actor recently shared details about his upcoming projects while also speaking candidly about the challenges that come with a breakthrough performance.<\/p>\n

Zahan Kapoor teams up with \u201cedgy and interesting filmmaker\u201d for his next theatrical release: \u201cI have a very unconventional part\u201d<\/p>\n
In an interview with Variety India, Zahan revealed that he has signed a new feature film that is expected to begin production early next year. While he refrained from revealing specific details about the project, he hinted that audiences can expect to see him in a completely different avatar.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m very excited because an edgy and interesting filmmaker is making a movie that I\u2019ve jumped on board with. We start in January. This is supposed to be theatrical, and I have a very unconventional part. It\u2019s going to be a 180-degree shift from Black Warrant or Faraaz. Fingers crossed, I might also have a series release in the first quarter that I shot before Black Warrant. It\u2019s a younger, perhaps more nervous version of me. I\u2019m hoping 2026 will be a busy year,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
While Black Warrant helped establish him as a promising talent, Zahan admitted that success often comes with a new challenge: deciding which opportunities to pursue next.<\/p>\n
When asked whether a successful show leads to an influx of advice and expectations about future career moves, the actor acknowledged that he is still figuring out the best way forward. \u201cDealing with the overwhelm of advice… I don\u2019t know what the solution is. I\u2019m also just trying to navigate it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Zahan further explained that his long-term goal is to build a diverse body of work rather than remain confined to a particular genre or character type.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn a gut level, I want to be able to play the spectrum. I don\u2019t want to be typecast. I have to be careful because the success of a role often leads to getting offered more of the same. Yes, I\u2019ve played a character confronting corrupt bureaucratic systems. I might have more opportunities in that world, so in contrast, I want to create an exciting palette,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
