No specialist fire investigator was responding as of this morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">A police spokesperson said police were making general inquiries, but were not actively investigating the fire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cThe house was vacant and no one else was involved, and the property has been completely destroyed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">The fire comes less than a week after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/hawkes-bay-today\/news\/house-severely-damaged-in-suspicious-fire-near-frasertown-hawkes-bay\/DTBAOYYCUJH7RJ2RZEL6TINYBY\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/hawkes-bay-today\/news\/house-severely-damaged-in-suspicious-fire-near-frasertown-hawkes-bay\/DTBAOYYCUJH7RJ2RZEL6TINYBY\/\">a house fire on SH38 between Frasertown and Wairoa<\/a> was deemed suspicious.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">The road was briefly closed as firefighters fought the blaze, which \u201cseverely damaged\u201d the house.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rGEveXCr\" style=\"display:none\">The police spokesperson said police were still investigating the earlier fire.
