Even lacking drums and a fuller dual guitar sound, the song felt massive, a fact underscored by the fans\u2019 outsized response to the song by their countrymen.<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>Previous performances, called \u201cdoodles\u201d by the band, included \u201cEl Paso\u201d by Marty Robbins, \u201cWhen Doves Cry\u201d by Prince, and \u201cMajor Tom\u201d by Peter Schilling, showcasing the wide range the duo have pulled from.<\/p>\n<p>Following Metallica\u2019s current UK\/European run, the band will prepare for a <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2026\/03\/metallica-expand-sphere-residency-24-shows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">residency at Las Vegas\u2019 Sphere<\/a> set to begin October 1st, and run all the way through March 13th, 2027.
