Hannah Waddingham<\/a> is opening up about working with Ted Lasso co-creator and star Jason Sudeikis<\/a> as the beloved Apple TV series gears up for its fourth season.<\/p>\n The Emmy-winning actress, who plays Rebecca Welton on the hit Apple TV show, spoke with Variety<\/a> in an interview published on Saturday (May 30), where she reflected on the show\u2019s creative process and her dynamic with Jason behind the scenes.<\/p>\n With Ted Lasso returning for season 4 following a lengthy gap between installments, Hannah was asked whether production faced some of the same challenges that arose during previous seasons, particularly when it came to last-minute script revisions.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s always going to be a bit of give-and-take within a scene, because of the nature of how Sudeikis works,\u201d she explained. \u201cHe hears it in the room, and then we tweak. With that boy, you\u2019ve got to roll with the punches. He and I have an ongoing love-hate relationship that he changes it last minute.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Despite the occasional on-set adjustments, Hannah made it clear she remains grateful to be part of the hit comedy\u2019s success.<\/p>\n The actress said one of the reasons she believes Ted Lasso continues to resonate with audiences is its uplifting message and optimistic tone, saying she loves \u201cthe positivity in it\u201d and feels \u201cblessed\u201d to be a member of the \u201cAFC Richmond family.\u201d<\/p>\n Apple TV has already teased what fans can expect from the upcoming season.<\/p>\n \u201cTed returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women\u2019s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.\u201d<\/p>\n Ted Lasso season 4 will return on August 5, 2026.
