The company said the platform will focus on affluent and <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#Markets#href\" href=\"https:\/\/m.economictimes.com\/topic\/high-net-worth-individuals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">high net worth individuals<\/a>, with investable assets of \u20b92 crore and above.<\/p>\n<p>The wealth arm would be part of Godrej <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#Markets#href\" href=\"https:\/\/m.economictimes.com\/topic\/financial-services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Financial Services<\/a>, which reported a 142.6% increase in consolidated net profit to \u20b9444 crore from \u20b9183 crore in the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As India&#8217;s wealth base expands, there is a growing need for institutions capable of providing long-term financial guidance across generations,&#8221; said Pirojsha Godrej, chairperson designate, <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#Markets#href\" href=\"https:\/\/m.economictimes.com\/topic\/godrej-industries\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Godrej Industries<\/a> Group.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Godrej group&#8217;s legacy and trust would form the foundation of the new wealth management platform,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Godrej expects wealth management to be a key long-term growth driver for the group&#8217;s financial services business. The company also plans to enter the asset management space in the coming years as part of its broader financial services strategy.
