Photo \/ Murray Robertson<\/p>\n<p class=\"DjAaGJVL\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cEveryone living in the family-owned home had got out when we got there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"DjAaGJVL\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cWe understand they were at the rear of the house at the time the fire started and were alerted by smoke alarms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"DjAaGJVL\" style=\"display:none\">The firefighter said the blaze started at the front of the home and spread rapidly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"DjAaGJVL\" style=\"display:none\">It took firefighters about 30 minutes to get it under control.<\/p>\n<p class=\"DjAaGJVL\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cIt took a full hour and a half to get it out completely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"DjAaGJVL\" style=\"display:none\">Fire crews were to go back to check on it during the day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"DjAaGJVL\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cWe were able to contain it to the front part of the house, using multiple deliveries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"DjAaGJVL\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of structural damage at the front with serious smoke damage throughout.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"DjAaGJVL\" style=\"display:none\">The services of the St John crews who attended were not required.<\/p>\n<p><img  alt=\" Three fire appliances and crews, two St John Ambulance vehicles and numerous police responded to the emergency.
