Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones are giving viewers a look at the inner workings of their show and friendship in a new segment called \u201cAsk Away.\u201d<\/p>\n
The TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle co-hosts debuted the segment June 9 and shared two questions from fans of the show, which were submitted on Instagram. <\/p>\n
Up first, they answered the following query: \u201cDo you have a favorite memory together?\u201d <\/p>\n
Sheinelle went first and recalled a time when the TODAY crew hung out on a rooftop in New York City for the whole day. <\/p>\n
\u201cAbout how many years ago was that?\u201d she asked Jenna.<\/p>\n
\u201cThree or four or five,\u201d Jenna replied.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt started around, say, noon. Would you like to tell America when it ended?\u201d Sheinelle said.<\/p>\n
\u201cNine p.m., right?\u201d Jenna asked.<\/p>\n
Sheinelle continued, trying to remember if Dylan Dreyer had \u201cchipped her tooth\u201d at the get together. Then, she realized she\u2019d actually \u201cskinned her knee.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe haven\u2019t done a fun lunch in a long time. But we like to do that. It\u2019s really fun,\u201d Sheinelle said.<\/p>\n
Next, it was Jenna\u2019s turn to share her favorite memory with her co-host, which occurred during one of many Olympics games TODAY has covered over the years. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe were kind of on standby, so we didn\u2019t do much. And we spent the entire time, or I did, learning TikTok dances with Sheinelle,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a good time,\u201d Sheinelle agreed. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt was fun. It\u2019s what the kids do, bro,\u201d Jenna joked.<\/p>\n
For their second and final question of the day, the co-hosts offered insight into their on-air wardrobe while answering the question, \u201cDo you choose your own clothes?\u201d<\/p>\n
While the co-hosts often do pick out their own outfits, Sheinelle said she got a bit of help this morning. <\/p>\n
\u201cI was going to do something Knicks-related, and then they didn\u2019t win, so I was like, \u2018OK, well, let me keep the top,\u2019\u201d she said of her orange blouse. <\/p>\n
Sheinelle then explained that one of her colleagues suggested she wear a pair of brown pants. <\/p>\n
\u201cI think it looks chic,\u201d Jenna said. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve never worn orange and brown,\u201d Sheinelle said. <\/p>\n
Jenna, who was wearing a khaki dress, then suggested that she and Sheinelle \u201cboth kind of look like we\u2019re going on some sort of safari.\u201d <\/p>\n
