Straddling the boundary between furniture and d\u00e9cor, it&#8217;s a sort of add-on alcove, fittingly called Niche.<\/p>\n<p id=\"dc9a48_2531\" data-ic-marker=\"965dd5_2596\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/1838044_81_144477_qg7TwLUI0.jpg\"\/> <\/p>\n<p id=\"1a27cf_190\" data-ic-marker=\"24ac35_6847\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/1838042_81_144477_wMiS3E49a.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"31c706_2059\" data-ic-marker=\"9a2e34_4980\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/1838041_81_144477_KjYuzZ76N.jpg\"\/> <\/p>\n<p>Niche is a shelf referencing the architectural element. The faceted walls and roof transforms the object into something that feels almost like an alcove or a nest (the original meaning of the word niche, from Latin nidus &#8216;nest&#8217;). Items placed inside become elevated and highlighted, as if put on a pedestal.<\/p>\n<p id=\"784153_7934\" data-ic-marker=\"9f868f_7397\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/1838047_81_144477_4q5FrIvTo.jpg\"\/> <\/p>\n<p>Constructed in powder-coated steel and available in two sizes.
