living standards for people\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">Mowbray described the family\u2019s estimated fortune as a \u201cscorecard\u201d for Zuru\u2019s success rather than a goal in itself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cWhat really matters to us is the execution that delivers on that number,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cFrom our side, that means competing on a global scale, in our case with companies like Procter and Gamble, Kimberly Clark, Mattel, Lego \u2013 created a \u201creliance on the state\u201d and a \u201cfixation that the pie is set\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cAll that does is [it] drives out ambitious people, drives out capital, and effectively just shrinks the overall pie,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cI think it\u2019s just creating a culture of ambition and knowing that we can go out on a world stage and and win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cZuru proves that we continue to do it in multiple different verticals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">The number of billionaires on this year\u2019s NBR Rich List rose from 18 to 26.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">The combined wealth of the country\u2019s 150 richest individuals, families and duos increased to $129b, up from $102b last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">Mowbray and his brother Mat retained the top spot, while packaging magnate Graeme Hart remained second on $14.1b. <\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">Rocket Lab founder Sir Peter Beck was the biggest mover, jumping 30 places to third after his estimated wealth surged from $650 million to $11 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">The list welcomed 19 newcomers worth a combined $10.22b, including NBA player Steven Adams, while film-maker James Cameron was the wealthiest new
