After last week\u2019s release of the first developer betas for the operating systems announced during the WWDC keynote, Apple is now releasing a new round of betas for its current software lineup. Here are the details.<\/p>\n
26.6 beta testing continues<\/p>\n
Apple\u2019s next major software cycle officially began last week with the release of the first developer betas for iOS 27<\/a>, iPadOS 27<\/a>, macOS 27 Golden Gate<\/a>, watchOS 27<\/a>, tvOS 27<\/a>, and visionOS 27<\/a>.<\/p>\n At the same time, the company is continuing work on its current operating systems. Apple is now rolling out the developer betas 2 for:<\/p>\n iPadOS 26.6<\/p>\n macOS Tahoe 26.6 (25G5043d)<\/p>\n tvOS 26.6 (23L5744d)<\/p>\n watchOS 26.6 (23U5040d)<\/p>\n visionOS 26.6 (23O5743c)<\/p>\n HomePod 26.6 (23L5744d)<\/p>\n The first wave of 26.6 betas didn\u2019t introduce many new features across Apple\u2019s lineup, with the only notable change discovered so far being a new alert<\/a> that appears when users try to block a contact after reaching the maximum limit.<\/p>\n It appears the 26.6 cycle will be mostly focused on bug fixes and performance improvements.
