The rehabilitation has been challenging, but each day gets a little easier, and I\u2019m excited to be on the path to feeling like myself again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">Thornberry, a pilates instructor, has been documenting her journey since going public about her battle. <\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cThis video serves as a reminder of how I took my blessings for granted until I faced the reality of losing them. Life truly is precious,\u201d she said in the post. <\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">Nyika, a two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist and world cruiserweight title contender, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/sport\/boxing\/kiwi-boxer-david-nyika-on-fiancee-lexy-thornberrys-cancer-fight-ahead-of-return-to-ring\/NXOAJT3MSRFBRNTQ23CIB5GB3A\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/sport\/boxing\/kiwi-boxer-david-nyika-on-fiancee-lexy-thornberrys-cancer-fight-ahead-of-return-to-ring\/NXOAJT3MSRFBRNTQ23CIB5GB3A\/\">has been open about his fianc\u00e9e\u2019s battle with the disease<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cLife got different pretty quick and we\u2019ve had to kind of adjust in every way, shape and form, just to manage spiritually, emotionally, physically, through this difficult time,\u201d Nyika told Newstalk ZB last December.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PExwGCGfAPLnCMYI\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cBut Lex is a monster. She\u2019s doing so well.
